Any public location, or private location to which we can gain access safely and with permission from the responsible parties.
Metro Houston: Within about a 1 hour drive from downtown Houston.
If you have a special location in mind that's further, I will frequently still be able to accommodate this, just ask. I have done sessions as far as College Station. Travel costs may be added to the standard session, depending on distance.
Yes, your chosen location can be a photo studio. Some clients prefer a studio environment for certain kinds of creative or professional photo sessions. I have established relationships with several top-notch Houston studios and can make all the arrangements for our session there.
*Note that the cost of the studio booking is not covered in my photo packages, and will be charged to you at-cost as a separate item.
You only need to bring yourself, clothes, makeup and any props you may wish to have in your photos. A bottle of water is also recommended, as some sessions on-location will be warm. Besides, parched lips are not a good look for great photos.
If you wish to have a change of clothes during your session, please do, as it can provide more variety in the shots you have to choose from.
I can bring a portable pop-up wardrobe tent, which is similar to tall pup tent. This provides quick privacy, or of course we can plan to shoot near a public facility.
Note that time spent in changes once the session starts counts toward the time of the session. Each change will mean a bit less time for shots, so please plan accordingly.
I typically have proofs for first viewing published to your online gallery within 5 days of your session. Once I've received your feedback and selections of photos you wish to have edited, I can typically deliver the finals within a week, for average sessions.
If your session was a custom session with high numbers of shots, or you have requested creative editing, this timeframe may be longer. I will always keep you informed of the progress in those cases, so you have a reasonable expectation of when they will be delivered.
You will have a private online gallery. Once your proofs have been published to you new gallery, you will receive an email invitation to access it.
No, Grice Photography retains copyright to all photos. However, this does not limit your usage for typical non-commercial use cases.
You will receive a print release for all digital photo files purchased. This means you can share or print as many copies as you wish for personal use.
